Who you are
You have a basic understanding of infrastructure and possess proficient computer and communication skills. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring optimal customer experiences through reliability and consistency in operations. You are a US Citizen and currently hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, which is essential for this role.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to the operational excellence of Amazon Data Centers. Your ability to support onsite operations teams will be crucial in maintaining the availability and reliability of the facility operations center. You are passionate about customer experience and are ready to take on the challenges that come with monitoring critical infrastructure.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for 24X7 monitoring of the data centerβs physical infrastructure. You will assist and support onsite operations teams to ensure that service levels are met or exceeded. Your attention to detail will help maintain the consistency and reliability of operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will work closely with other team members to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring that the facility operates smoothly.
You will also be involved in reporting and documenting incidents, contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes. Your role will require you to be proactive in identifying potential risks and implementing solutions to mitigate them. You will play a key part in maintaining the operational standards that Amazon is known for, ensuring that our data centers remain at the forefront of technology and customer service.
