Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven ability to lead and develop a strong team, providing analytical support for executive decision-making based on quantitative analyses. You think strategically and manage projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that financial frameworks align with business goals. Your experience in finance allows you to understand and strategize selection and cost, including end-to-end logistics options, to support breakthrough customer experience projects.
You are adept at conducting business reviews and evaluating progress toward business goals, effectively communicating updates to senior management. Your analytical mindset enables you to identify opportunities for improvement and drive strategic initiatives that contribute to long-term success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with Directors and Senior Managers to develop financial and operational plans that achieve long-term business goals. You will be responsible for controllership, analysis, planning, forecasting, and reporting for the product family you oversee. Your work will touch the full P/L, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape within the Amazon.co.jp e-commerce business.
You will lead financial analysts and collaborate with senior business leaders to drive topline growth and profitability, focusing on enhancing the customer experience. Your responsibilities will include performing analyses to support decision-making and developing frameworks that guide financial strategies. You will also be involved in supporting various projects critical to the customer experience for consumers in Japan.
