Who you are
You are an entry-level Financial Analyst with a strong foundation in financial accounting and reporting. You have experience in performing month-end activities, including closing sub-ledgers and general ledger account reconciliations. Your analytical skills enable you to conduct thorough balance sheet and P&L analysis, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. You are detail-oriented and have a strong desire to innovate processes to improve efficiency and control within the finance department. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to support management in all aspects of financial accounting.
Desirable
Experience with financial reporting systems and internal controls is a plus. Familiarity with SQL will enhance your ability to analyze data effectively. You are open to learning and adapting to new financial tools and technologies that can aid in your role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the Cash Accounting team by performing month-end activities that include the closing of sub-ledgers and ensuring proper review of account balances. You will prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations, contributing to the accuracy of financial statements. Your responsibilities will also involve conducting balance sheet and P&L analysis to provide insights to management. You will play a key role in promoting systems and process development within the department, ensuring ongoing efficiency and control improvements. You will collaborate with team members to drive innovation and exceed expectations in a fast-paced environment, ultimately delivering great experiences for Amazon's customers.
