Who you are
You have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a proficient level of professional skill and knowledge in accounting principles. You are capable of recognizing complex issues and developing resolutions, consistently consulting with leadership to achieve effective outcomes. Your experience includes performing month-end activities such as closing sub ledgers and general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring that financial policies and internal controls are in place. You are detail-oriented and committed to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
You possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to prepare month-end Flux analysis for all P&L and Balance sheet accounts. You can effectively communicate your findings to stakeholders, providing insights into the reasons for changes in financial metrics. Your ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment makes you a valuable team member, and you are dedicated to delivering great experiences for customers.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the Finance Operations team by performing key month-end activities, including the closing of sub ledgers and conducting general ledger account reconciliations. You will prepare detailed financial reports and analyses, sharing your insights with stakeholders to inform decision-making. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that appropriate financial policies and procedures are documented and adhered to, while actively seeking opportunities for process improvements.
You will be responsible for preparing balance sheet reconciliations and highlighting any discrepancies, taking necessary actions to resolve issues promptly. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams within the organization to ensure that financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will also engage in continuous learning and development to stay updated on best practices in finance and accounting.
