You have at least 1 year of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses, and you are comfortable using standard software tools such as Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA. Your analytical skills allow you to use data effectively to influence business decisions, and you have participated in continuous improvement projects that have yielded measurable results.

You understand the importance of building financial and operational reports that inform business decision-making. Your experience in corporate finance, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting, has equipped you with the skills necessary to support business leaders effectively. What you'll do

As a Financial Analyst Intern at Amazon, you will support the AMZL Finance team by producing and delivering financial analyses that facilitate corrective actions and informed decision-making. You will define business and financial metrics that consider worldwide reporting processes and local business needs. Your role will involve building processes to capture and analyze these metrics on a weekly basis, ensuring that the finance leader has the necessary insights to guide the business.

You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their financial needs and provide them with the data and reports they require. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you interpret complex data sets and present your findings in a clear and actionable manner. You will also have the opportunity to participate in continuous improvement initiatives, helping to scale and enhance the controllership processes within your team.
