You have 3+ years of experience in software development, particularly in building full stack applications that handle high volumes of data and require low-latency responses. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges in distributed systems, and you understand the importance of quality and testability in software engineering. You possess excellent technical design skills and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to think from a customer perspective allows you to contribute meaningfully to product vision and technical design.
You are passionate about engineering excellence and are eager to learn and grow by collaborating with senior engineers. You have a solid foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, which helps you in crafting innovative solutions that enhance user experiences. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to driving improvements in system performance and operational excellence.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and leading high-impact innovations for the Address & Checkout application services at Amazon. You will design and implement multi-tiered, highly resilient distributed systems that simplify the checkout process and enhance the shopping experience for customers. Your contributions will involve addressing non-functional aspects of the application, such as latency and performance, ensuring that the systems you build are robust and efficient.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
