Desirable

Experience with cloud computing technologies, particularly AWS, is a plus. Familiarity with silicon suppliers and ODMs will enhance your ability to manage partnerships effectively. You are also comfortable with data analysis and performance metrics, using them to inform decisions and drive improvements in hardware performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of skilled hardware and system development engineers, guiding them through the entire lifecycle of hardware design, from inception to deprecation. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap for core system components, ensuring they meet or exceed performance benchmarks. Your role will involve close collaboration with silicon suppliers and internal customers to maintain a high-performing system component roadmap.

You will oversee the planning and execution of hardware projects, ensuring that all designs are aligned with AWS's strategic goals. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the team to deliver best-in-class performance, addressing challenges that arise during the manufacturing and implementation phases. You will also be involved in mentoring team members, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers within the organization.
