Who you are

You are a current student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a strong interest in hardware design and ASIC development. You have a foundational understanding of digital logic design and are eager to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. You are detail-oriented and capable of working collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to projects that require both technical skills and effective communication.

You are expected to have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in your studies after the internship concludes, ensuring that you can fully engage in the internship experience without conflicting commitments. Your passion for technology and innovation drives you to seek out opportunities that challenge your skills and expand your knowledge.

What you'll do

As an ASIC Engineer Intern at Amazon, you will participate in logic design, verification, and post-silicon validation as part of Amazon's custom silicon solutions. You will work closely with physical design teams to achieve performance and area requirements, gaining hands-on experience in the development of cutting-edge technology. Your role will involve understanding end customer requirements, including software applications, use models, system architecture, and the System on Chip (SoC) design.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute to various stages of the ASIC development process, from initial design to validation. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the hardware engineering field and the opportunity to develop skills that are essential for a successful career in technology.
