Who you are
You are a skilled Language Specialist with a strong focus on the Japanese language, ready to contribute to the future of entertainment at Amazon. You have experience in linguistic quality assurance, ensuring that language assets are coherent, grammatically correct, and stylistically consistent. Your attention to detail allows you to effectively proofread and edit various written communications, including subtitles and metadata. You are passionate about improving customer experiences through high-quality language solutions and are eager to stay current with best practices in the streaming and entertainment industry.
What you'll do
In this role, you will conduct Linguistic Quality Assurance checks on audio, subtitles, narratives, video, and artwork to ensure overall content quality. You will support the implementation of language-related processes to maintain consistency and quality in Japanese language services. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with team members to understand language requirements and deliver quality results. You will also contribute to the improvement of language processes and workflows, ensuring that Amazon's offerings meet the highest standards for Japanese-speaking customers.
