Who you are
You have a strong background in automation engineering with experience leading teams — your expertise in controls automation and technical support allows you to effectively troubleshoot complex control systems and analyze performance metrics. You are passionate about driving continuous improvement and mentoring junior engineers to build their capabilities.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously — your ability to guide teams in their leadership of continuous improvement projects ensures operational excellence across fulfillment centers. You are familiar with state-of-the-art technology, including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) devices.
What you'll do
As the Automation Engineer Manager, you will lead a dedicated team focused on enhancing equipment reliability and operational excellence — you will monitor and support their work, ensuring they effectively troubleshoot complex control systems. Your role will involve analyzing performance metrics and guiding your team in continuous improvement initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency — your leadership will be crucial in optimizing design and ensuring that your team is equipped to meet the challenges of maintaining robotics and material handling equipment.
