With experience in leading small-to-medium impacting projects, you are comfortable working independently while also collaborating with external support groups, including engineering and finance teams. Your ability to communicate technical information clearly makes you a valuable resource for onsite Engineering Operations Technicians and third-party vendors.

You understand the importance of maintaining better than 99.999% uptime for mission-critical servers and are committed to delivering first-class customer service to internal teams. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and project management ensures that you meet key milestones and track necessary costs effectively.

Desirable

Experience with large-scale data center operations and familiarity with MEP systems will set you apart. A background in project management and a strong understanding of AWS infrastructure will enhance your ability to succeed in this role.

What you'll do

As the Chief Engineer, you will oversee the operations of all facility equipment within the data center, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will lead the team in executing planned maintenance schedules while also addressing any emergent issues that arise. Your role will involve managing projects from conception to completion, requiring you to coordinate with various teams and stakeholders.

You will serve as the primary technical resource for the facility, providing guidance and support to the Engineering Operations Technicians. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the data center's infrastructure, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will be involved in budgeting and cost tracking for projects, ensuring that all expenditures align with company standards. Your ability to create and deliver on key milestones will be essential for the success of the data center operations.
