Who you are

You have extensive experience in facilities management and engineering, particularly within data center environments. Your background includes overseeing critical systems such as switchgear, generators, and UPS systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. You are skilled in performing root cause analysis of equipment failures and troubleshooting within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA). You possess strong leadership qualities, providing training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians while fostering a collaborative team environment.

You are adept at managing complex supply chain challenges and understand the importance of maintaining continual access to cloud services. Your problem-solving skills allow you to navigate the most challenging issues that arise in data center operations. You thrive in a diverse team setting, collaborating with software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers. You are committed to delivering the highest standards for safety and security in all operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will act as the primary escalation point for all facilities-related issues, ensuring that all critical systems are operational and maintained to the highest standards. You will oversee the management of routine and emergency services, ensuring that all equipment, including power distribution and cooling systems, is functioning optimally. Your responsibilities will include performing root cause analysis of equipment failures and implementing effective troubleshooting strategies to minimize downtime.

You will provide training and mentorship to Engineering Operations Technicians, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in facilities management. Your role will require you to collaborate closely with various teams across AWS, ensuring that all operations align with the company's safety and security standards. You will also be involved in strategic planning and decision-making processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of AWS infrastructure services.

What we offer

Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $96,000.00 - $166,300.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
