What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the implementation of Amazon's Global Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Program at your site. You will partner with operations leadership to ensure that safety is woven into the fabric of daily operations. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, developing safety programs, and using data-driven insights to create innovative solutions that reduce risk and enhance productivity. You will also be responsible for building and developing a high-performing team of WHS professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
You will serve as the site's safety pioneer, orchestrating safety initiatives that impact thousands of lives. Your ability to build trust and influence change will be crucial as you lead comprehensive safety programs. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, and you will drive initiatives that promote a proactive safety culture. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of workplace health and safety at Amazon.
