What you'll do

As the Physical Security Cluster Manager, you will lead a team of Security Managers responsible for the operational physical security of Amazon's data centers — your role involves overseeing access control systems, managing guard forces, and ensuring compliance with security policies. You will implement new processes and ensure adherence to existing Amazon policies related to security guarding and media security.

You will conduct risk assessments and threat evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them — your insights will help shape security protocols and enhance the overall safety of the facilities. You will also be responsible for reporting security metrics and conducting audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with other Amazon teams to deliver projects on time and within budget — your ability to communicate effectively will ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process. You will supervise employees and contractors, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their security objectives.
