Job Description
Who you are
You are an entry-level Learning Experience Design Specialist with a passion for transforming training delivery in a large logistics network. You have a foundational understanding of instructional design principles and are eager to apply adult learning theories to create effective training solutions. You enjoy collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to identify performance needs and skills gaps, ensuring that your training content is relevant and impactful.
You are familiar with various authoring tools and technologies, and you have experience in developing interactive learning modules that engage learners across multiple modalities, including remote, in-person, and digital formats. You understand the importance of measurable learning outcomes and are committed to enhancing safety and operational excellence through innovative training design.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design and develop straightforward training solutions that cater to the diverse needs of Amazon's transportation network. You will create original training content, facilitator guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with adult learning principles. Your responsibilities will include transforming traditional materials into engaging digital formats and developing interactive learning modules using industry-standard authoring tools.
You will partner with SMEs to conduct needs assessments through surveys and interviews, helping to identify business challenges and performance needs. Your work will drive measurable learning outcomes and support the development of employees across the Transportation Operations Management (TOM) organization. You will ensure that all training solutions are consistent, high-quality, and designed to enhance safety outcomes and operational excellence.
