What you'll do

In this role, you will counsel the Prime Video business on a wide range of commercial, licensing, technology, and regulatory matters. You will be involved in structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial transactions that are crucial for the growth of Prime Video in India. Your responsibilities will include handling legal aspects of content acquisition, evaluating rights issues, and confirming chain of title. You will also manage clearance matters, standards and practices review, and promotion and publicity issues. Collaborating with other departments such as marketing and product, you will provide day-to-day legal advice and resolve issues that arise in existing commercial relationships. Additionally, you will handle pre-litigation legal disputes and content-related escalations and inquiries, ensuring that the business operates within legal frameworks while pursuing its objectives. Your role will be pivotal in helping launch new products and services, making your contributions vital to the success of Prime Video.
