Who you are

You are a qualified attorney with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, ready to provide legal advisory support in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. You possess excellent written and oral communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with business owners and stakeholders. Your experience includes handling a variety of legal issues, including intellectual property and regulatory compliance, ensuring that all operations align with local laws.

You have a strong background in contract management, with proven skills in drafting and negotiating contracts. You understand the nuances of procurement contracts, master service agreements, sales agreements, advertising agreements, and NDAs. Your ability to resolve issues in existing commercial relationships and handle pre-litigation disputes is a key asset.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with the legal team and business operations clients to achieve operational excellence. You will provide ongoing legal counseling on a wide range of legal areas, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end negotiation and documentation of various third-party contractual relationships. You will also be involved in resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

You will work closely with the Corporate Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel, contributing to the legal strategy of Amazon's operations in India. Your role will require you to stay updated on legal developments and ensure that the company's practices align with current laws and regulations. You will play a crucial role in supporting the business's growth while mitigating legal risks.
