Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced legal professional with a strong background in real estate law, particularly in the logistics sector. You have a proven track record of negotiating and drafting complex real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, and development agreements. Your ability to partner with business teams to structure real estate transactions that meet operational needs while managing legal risks is a key strength. You possess a deep understanding of land use, zoning, entitlements, and permitting strategies that support facility development. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing due diligence processes, including title review and environmental assessments.
What you'll do
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Amazon's Real Estate and Operations teams to buy, lease, entitle, construct, launch, and manage logistics facilities. You will tackle dynamic and complex projects that present unique legal and business challenges. Your responsibilities will include negotiating and drafting real estate agreements, advising on land use and zoning issues, and managing due diligence processes. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that all legal aspects of real estate transactions are addressed effectively. Your contributions will directly impact Amazon's ability to serve and delight customers through innovative logistics solutions.
