Who you are
You are an experienced litigation paralegal with a strong background in managing complex legal matters. You have a keen understanding of antitrust issues and government regulatory investigations, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where you work closely with attorneys and other stakeholders. Your organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to handle voluminous case materials efficiently. You possess excellent analytical abilities, enabling you to conduct thorough fact-finding and data analysis to support legal claims. You are adept at drafting legal documents and notices, and you have experience coordinating with outside counsel and eDiscovery vendors. Your prior legal experience in grocery retail is a plus, as it gives you unique insights into the industry.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of litigation, including antitrust matters and regulatory investigations. You will conduct fact-finding missions, analyze data, and understand the details of case issues and claims. Your responsibilities will include identifying relevant custodians, interviewing internal witnesses, and drafting legal hold notices. You will collect data from various tools and business partner teams, ensuring that all materials are organized and accessible. Scheduling depositions and managing outside counsel on data requests will also be part of your duties. You will support deposition preparation and collaborate with eDiscovery vendors on document collections and productions. Your role will encompass providing legal support for litigation matters from inception to closure, including discovery, summary judgment work, and hearing preparation. You will work directly with cross-functional stakeholders to drive best practices and serve as a liaison to support a key practice group within the Litigation & Regulatory team. Your ability to creatively solve challenges and streamline processes will be essential for success in this position.
