Who you are
You have experience as a Litigation Paralegal, providing high-quality support in legal environments. You understand the intricacies of pre-litigation and litigation processes and are skilled in managing documentation and case files. Your proficiency in Salesforce allows you to efficiently track and manage legal matters, ensuring that all documentation is organized and accessible. You are detail-oriented and capable of conducting legal and policy research to support your team effectively.
You excel in customer service, providing assistance to business teams and external parties regarding legal inquiries. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively ensures that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the legal process. You are proactive in following up on outstanding legal requests and are comfortable running status reports to keep everyone updated.
What you'll do
As a Litigation Paralegal at LendingTree, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal department. You will manage the initial intake and setup of legal matters, ensuring that all files are organized and that documentation is requested and maintained properly. Your responsibilities will include assisting counsel with investigations related to pre-litigation and litigation matters, as well as handling third-party subpoenas and discovery requests.
You will also provide support to the Government Relations team by tracking and summarizing legislative and regulatory activities. This includes conducting legal and policy research as needed and ensuring compliance with government relations and lobbying requirements. You will coordinate meetings with legislative offices, managing calendars and materials to facilitate effective communication.
In this role, you will be expected to follow up with business teams on outstanding legal requests and run status reports in Salesforce as needed. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring that all legal matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
