Who you are

You have a strong background in maintenance engineering, with experience in leading teams and ensuring equipment reliability in a fast-paced environment. Your experience in a distribution warehouse setting has equipped you with the skills to handle reactive repairs while maintaining a focus on preventative maintenance. You understand the importance of monitoring processes and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, which is essential for maintaining high operational standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of technicians to carry out proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is running properly and that any reactive repairs are addressed promptly. Your leadership will be crucial in monitoring processes and implementing best practices across multiple EU sites, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the operations.

You will work closely with your team to suggest and implement improvements based on your observations during shifts. This includes using tools like Scada to monitor performance and guarantee that systems are operating at optimal levels. Your role will also involve supporting the development of on-site apprentices, helping them to grow their skills and knowledge in maintenance engineering. You will be at the forefront of continuous improvement projects, driving initiatives that enhance the reliability and effectiveness of equipment across the distribution network.
