Who you are
You have a strong background in economics and data science, with experience leading teams to develop innovative solutions for complex business challenges. Your expertise in statistical analysis and causal inference models allows you to design effective measurement systems that drive marketing investment decisions. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
You have a proven track record of applying experimental evidence and observational models to solve real-world marketing problems. Your ability to think critically and strategically helps you redefine brand marketing measurement and improve omni-channel effectiveness. You are passionate about using data to inform decisions and enhance customer experiences.
What you'll do
As a Science Manager, you will lead a team of Economists, Data Scientists, and Applied Scientists in developing state-of-the-art models for marketing measurement. You will collaborate with various teams across Amazon to tackle key challenges, such as measuring the incremental impact of multi-channel marketing portfolios and estimating long-term customer actions. Your leadership will guide the team in applying industry-leading causal inference models and designing experiments that shape marketing strategies.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the MAPS organization remains the most trusted source of measurement science solutions within Amazon. Your work will directly influence how product and marketing teams make decisions, ultimately impacting customer perceptions and experiences with Amazon. You will also mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and encouraging innovative thinking.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $175,100.00 - $236,900.00 USD annually, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
