You are a skilled technician with a background in mechatronics, electronics, or mechanics — you understand the importance of maintaining technical systems and ensuring their optimal performance. You have experience in performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting a variety of equipment, which allows you to quickly identify and resolve issues. Your commitment to safety standards ensures that you adhere to all workplace safety guidelines while performing your duties.
You are familiar with the latest tools and technologies used in maintenance and repair — your hands-on experience with technical systems enables you to maximize equipment effectiveness. You are also supportive of the development and professional growth of apprentices at your location, contributing to a culture of learning and improvement.
What you'll do
As a member of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team, you will be on-site at one of Amazon's logistics centers, responding promptly to technical disruptions. You will execute a range of planned preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure their safe operation. Additionally, you will react swiftly to breakdowns and outages, investigating causes and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. Your role will involve working on continuous improvement projects and introducing best practices across various EU locations, enhancing the overall efficiency of operations.
You will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure the highest availability of technical systems, contributing to the overall success of the team. Your proactive approach will help prevent machine downtimes, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will also participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on the latest maintenance techniques and technologies.
