You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with both internal teams and external suppliers to ensure that your designs meet high standards of quality and cost-effectiveness. Your strong communication skills enable you to be the primary technical contact for your projects, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the design and implementation phases.

You are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively. Your experience includes working on green-field and brown-field projects, as well as retrofits, showcasing your versatility and adaptability in various engineering contexts.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of designing high-quality solutions for Amazon's fulfillment and distribution systems. You will lead projects from concept realization through design approval, ensuring that your designs are not only innovative but also practical and implementable. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop specifications and requirements, as well as conducting feasibility studies to assess the viability of proposed solutions.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, guiding them through the technical aspects of your projects and ensuring that they understand the design intent. Once designs are approved, you will hand off projects to the Operations Engineering team, supporting them throughout the installation and commissioning phases to ensure successful implementation.

Your projects will encompass a variety of facilities, including fulfillment centers, cross-dock facilities, and specialty logistics centers. You will be involved in both template-based designs and custom solutions, allowing you to apply your creativity and technical expertise in diverse ways.
