You are a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in designing and delivering hardware solutions in a fast-paced R&D environment. With your hands-on design capabilities, you excel in creating custom test fixturing for structural testing, ensuring that your designs meet the rigorous demands of satellite programs. You possess a deep understanding of mechanical systems and are adept at applying state-of-the-art technologies to solve complex engineering challenges. Desirable

What you'll do
In this role, you will independently design and develop custom test fixturing for both coupon-level and large-scale structural testing. Your responsibilities will include conducting structural analysis to ensure that all designs meet safety and performance standards. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to define testing requirements and develop innovative solutions that support hardware development initiatives.
You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of hardware development, from initial concept through to testing and validation. This includes creating detailed design documentation and specifications, as well as participating in design reviews to ensure that all aspects of the project are thoroughly vetted. Your hands-on approach will allow you to engage directly with prototypes, providing valuable insights that will inform future design iterations.
