Who you are
You have a strong foundation in mechatronics and robotics, with hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining automated systems. Your skills in embedded Linux and Arduino will be essential as you work on material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You are eager to mentor junior technicians, helping them grow in their roles and develop their technical skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to ensuring operational excellence.
Desirable
Experience with AutoCAD is a plus, as it will help you in the installation and maintenance of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You are familiar with safety protocols and understand the importance of maintaining a safe working environment. Your ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly will be invaluable in this role.
What you'll do
As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated systems within Amazon's operations. You will work closely with the Operations Maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally, contributing to the overall efficiency of the facility. Your role will involve diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key, as you will need to communicate effectively with engineers and other maintenance staff to address any technical challenges that arise.
