Who you are

You are a skilled professional with experience in communications security, particularly in managing COMSEC accounts and ensuring compliance with security standards. You possess a strong understanding of cloud web services technologies and are eager to apply your knowledge to complex computing workloads. As a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance, you are well-prepared to handle sensitive information and work with various mission partners across the United States.

You have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining COMSEC accounts, including on-site troubleshooting and network deployment. Your attention to detail ensures that all keying and inventorying of devices is conducted accurately and in compliance with AWS policies. You are adept at training partner teams to support ad-hoc requirements and have experience in auditing individual accounts to maintain security integrity.

Your ability to communicate effectively with management and mission partners allows you to advise on current and planned COMSEC postures for all AWS locations. You are proactive in updating AWS policy doctrine to align with overarching customer requirements, demonstrating your commitment to security and compliance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Communications Security Program at AWS, which includes establishing and maintaining all COMSEC accounts regionally. You will engage in on-site troubleshooting and network deployment, ensuring that all devices are properly keyed and inventoried. Regular audits of individual accounts will be part of your responsibilities to ensure compliance with security standards.

You will work closely with mission partners and vendors, providing advice and guidance on COMSEC standards and policies. Your role will involve reviewing proposed new programs requiring COMSEC to ensure their security, as well as advising management on the current and planned COMSEC postures across AWS locations. You will also be responsible for updating AWS policy doctrine to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
