What you'll do

As a Regional Safety Engineer at Amazon, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and safety function within your designated area. You will implement safety standards, policies, and practices, including conducting risk assessments and industrial hygiene evaluations. Your role involves collaborating with data center engineers to improve safety protocols and ensure that all operations adhere to safety regulations.

You will conduct regular health and safety audits of data centers and active construction sites, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions. Partnering with construction managers, you will assess risks associated with new infrastructure and advocate for safe practices during the implementation of new tools and processes. Your efforts will contribute to advancing Amazon's safety culture and protecting the well-being of all employees.
