Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in physical security systems and project management, with experience in managing installations of access control devices, intrusion detection systems, and CCTV. Your ability to interpret Threat Assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards ensures that you can select the appropriate security mitigations for various challenges. You are skilled in collaborating with architectural and engineering teams to meet high security standards in data centers.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey technical knowledge to local security teams and ensure they have the resources necessary to fulfill their physical security mission. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail make you a valuable asset in maintaining the integrity of security systems.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the installation of approved physical security system hardware, ensuring that all components are integrated seamlessly into existing infrastructure. You will design physical security systems for new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects, adapting to the unique requirements of each site. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful implementation.
You will work closely with AWS architectural and engineering teams to ensure that each data center meets the stringent security standards set by AWS. After implementation, you will provide ongoing support and training to local security teams, empowering them to effectively manage and operate the physical security systems in place. Your role will be critical in maintaining the trust of customers who rely on AWS for secure data handling.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $61,100.00 - $106,900.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
