Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in physical security systems and project management, with experience in managing installations of access control devices, intrusion detection systems, and CCTV. Your ability to interpret threat assessments and apply AWS Physical Security Standards ensures that you can effectively address the unique challenges of each data center.
You possess excellent collaboration skills, allowing you to work closely with AWS architectural and engineering teams to ensure that all data centers meet the high security standards set by AWS. Your technical knowledge enables you to provide local security teams with the resources they need to fulfill their physical security mission.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the installation of approved physical security system hardware, ensuring that all components are integrated effectively. You will design physical security systems for new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects, adapting to the specific needs of each site.
You will be responsible for leading physical security projects from conception through implementation, ensuring that all security measures are in place and functioning as intended. Your role will also involve training local security teams, equipping them with the necessary technical knowledge to maintain and operate the security systems effectively.
