You have 2+ years of software development experience, ideally with a focus on operating systems or support engineering. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, allowing you to debug and identify issues within complex systems effectively. You are detail-oriented and possess superior verbal and written communication skills, which help you collaborate with multiple teams to root-cause issues and improve system health.
You thrive in environments where you can juggle multiple tasks at once, accurately prioritizing projects and making sound judgments. Your ability to foresee potential problems and implement proactive solutions is a key asset. You understand the importance of monitoring key metrics and maintaining dashboards to ensure the Kindle operating system runs smoothly.
Desirable
Experience with automated monitoring tools and creating alarms to detect failures is a plus. Familiarity with data mining techniques to identify patterns in large sets of logs will set you apart. A background in customer support or experience improving customer experience through technical solutions is highly desirable.
What you'll do
