Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced WHS Officer with a strong background in safety program management and compliance. You have the ability to build trust and confidence with operations teams, influencing change through effective communication and comprehensive risk assessments. Your expertise in safety, environmental, and ergonomic knowledge allows you to lead initiatives that ensure a safe working environment for all associates. You are skilled in training and instructing operations leaders on safety policies, ensuring that best practices are incorporated into daily operations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for executing company safety policies and ensuring compliance with local and regional regulations. You will partner with the site operations team to lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing ergonomic risks and enhancing safety standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, analyzing safety data, and developing training programs for operations leaders. You will also lead a team of safety specialists and coordinators, creating leadership development plans to foster their growth and effectiveness in promoting safety.
