What you'll do

As a WHS Officer at Amazon, you will be responsible for leading a safety team, including Safety Specialists and Safety Coordinators, to implement and uphold safety standards across the Fulfillment Center. You will conduct regular safety audits and assessments, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Your role will involve analyzing safety data to drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lean principles and kaizens to enhance safety processes.

You will collaborate closely with the operations team to develop and execute leadership development plans for your safety associates, fostering a culture of safety and accountability. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential as you instruct and train operations leaders on safety policies, ensuring that all team members understand and adhere to safety standards. You will also be tasked with identifying and implementing best practices in safety management, contributing to the overall safety culture within the organization.
