Who you are
You are a highly motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills. As a Network Technician, you thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to the success of AWS Infrastructure Services. You possess a foundational understanding of networking principles and have experience working with hardware configurations and connectivity solutions. Your ability to work autonomously while managing multiple tasks will be key to your success in this role. You are committed to maintaining high standards for safety and security in all your projects.
Desirable
Experience with AWS services and Cisco networking equipment is a plus. Familiarity with data center operations and project management principles will help you excel in this position. You are open to learning and adapting to new technologies as they emerge in the fast-paced cloud environment.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering hardware and ensuring fiber connectivity across various AWS data center locations. You will collaborate with Technical Program Managers to facilitate smooth project execution, ensuring that all interdependent scaling projects are completed on time and within budget. Your day-to-day tasks will involve configuring network equipment, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and coordinating with internal customers and external vendors. You will also participate in safety and security audits to uphold the highest standards in our data centers.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of engineers and specialists, gaining insights into the complexities of AWS infrastructure. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our cloud services, ensuring that customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
