You have experience in a medical or health-related role, ideally with a focus on workplace health and safety. You are comfortable assessing and administering first aid, and you understand the importance of advocating for health and wellness principles in a work environment. You enjoy interacting with people and are passionate about creating a safe workplace for all associates. You are familiar with OSHA regulations and have a proactive approach to managing health and safety concerns.

You thrive in team settings and can effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, including WHS Site Managers and Specialists. Your communication skills allow you to engage with new hires and existing associates, ensuring they feel supported and informed about health and safety practices. You are dedicated to continuous learning and improvement in health and safety protocols.

What you'll do

As an Onsite Medical Representative at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe work environment. You will assess and administer first aid to associates as needed, ensuring that all health concerns are addressed promptly. You will participate in weekly safety committee meetings and case management reviews, contributing your insights and recommendations to improve workplace safety.

Your responsibilities will include greeting new hires and providing them with essential information about health and safety practices. You will also offer guidance on both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses, referring associates to outside medical providers when necessary. You will work closely with the WHS team to implement best practices and resources that promote the health and wellbeing of all associates.
