You have extensive experience in operations management, particularly in a fulfillment or logistics environment. Your leadership skills shine as you manage and mentor a team of Operations and Area Managers, ensuring they meet performance objectives while fostering a positive work culture. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and customer experience in operational success, and you are adept at setting clear expectations and accountability for your team.
You are a proactive problem solver who drives quality initiatives and process improvements. Your experience with Lean methodologies enables you to implement effective change initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to secure resources and support for your projects.
What you'll do
As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the fulfillment center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching them to achieve their performance goals while ensuring a safe and productive work environment. You will drive the creation of quality initiatives and process changes that align with business objectives, leveraging your expertise to implement best practices across departments.
Your role will involve measuring performance, providing feedback, and holding your team accountable for their results. You will take proactive steps to share successful practices across shifts and departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, you will collaborate with support staff to build and secure resources for various projects, ensuring that operational goals are met efficiently.
