What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Sparrows Point Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, ensuring that they meet performance objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your role will involve driving the creation of quality initiatives and Lean process changes to enhance operational effectiveness. You will oversee safety, quality, and performance metrics for either Inbound or Outbound operations, ensuring that customer experience remains a top priority.

You will collaborate closely with support staff to secure resources for projects and initiatives, while also providing necessary support for other staff initiatives. Your leadership will be crucial in building a strong team dynamic, where ideas are nurtured and shared across the organization. You will take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are implemented and that all departments are aligned with the overall business plan. Your ability to measure performance and provide constructive feedback will be key to holding your team accountable and driving success within the Fulfillment Center.
