Who you are

You have a strong background in facilities management, with experience in overseeing building maintenance and compliance with local laws and standards. You understand the importance of maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Your ability to manage budgets effectively is complemented by your skills in preparing annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets. You are detail-oriented and capable of preparing root cause analyses for incidents and breakdowns, ensuring that preventative measures are in place. You have experience coordinating with landlords and real estate teams to ensure the upkeep of common areas and critical equipment. Your knowledge of food safety standards and environmental compliance is essential in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of buildings and facilities, ensuring that all compliance standards are met. You will oversee the management of various systems, including lighting, fire protection, and waste management, coordinating closely with landlords and internal teams. You will participate in site launch discussions, incorporating previous learnings into new designs to enhance operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include preparing and managing budgets, conducting root cause analyses for any incidents, and developing contingency plans for critical equipment. You will also be tasked with updating standard operating procedures and ensuring adherence among all team members. Your role will require you to continuously assess and improve the benchmarks of Amazon's RME activities, striving to raise the bar in operational excellence.
