What you'll do

As an Operations Manager at Amazon, you will manage line haul trucking operations and collaborate with carrier partners to enhance operational performance. You will be responsible for developing performance metrics that drive team performance and business results. Your role will involve identifying business impacts of trends and making data-backed decisions to optimize operations. You will communicate with both external customers, such as carriers and vendors, and internal customers to ensure smooth operations. You will lead initiatives aimed at improving safety culture for drivers and enhancing truck utilization. Additionally, you will oversee the deployment of solutions from various improvement initiatives, ensuring that they are effectively implemented at the zonal level. You will serve as the first point of contact for any operational escalations, engaging with the right stakeholders to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
