Who you are
You are an experienced leader with proven management skills, ready to take on the role of Regional Senior Manager in AWS Data Center Engineering. With a strong understanding of data center infrastructure, particularly in Mechanical, Electrical, and Pumping (MEP) systems, you have a strategic mindset and the ability to lead large teams effectively. You thrive in high-pressure environments and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to ensure operational excellence.
You have a track record of maintaining service uptime and managing complex operations. Your leadership style is hands-on, and you excel at mentoring and developing your team members. You are comfortable diving into details when necessary while keeping a high-level view of your organization. Your experience in facilities operations makes you a valuable asset to the AWS Infrastructure Operations organization.
What you'll do
As the Regional Senior Manager, you will oversee a large regional organization of Data Centers across Mississippi. You will be responsible for leading Area Managers, Facility Managers, Chief Engineers, and Ops Technicians to ensure the highest standards of service uptime. Your role will involve strategic planning and execution to meet the operational demands of Amazon's data center platform.
You will interact daily with a global team, representing the Mississippi Data Center Engineering operations. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing operational strategies, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will also be tasked with fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within your team, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $137,900.00 - $229,100.00 USD annually, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
