You have a strong background in data center operations management, with experience in leading teams and ensuring the reliability of infrastructure. Desirable
Experience with hardware and network diagnostics is a plus, as is familiarity with AWS infrastructure services. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiency within the data center space.
What you'll do
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the data center, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and meeting defined service levels. You will lead teams in diagnosing hardware and network issues, coordinating physical repairs, and participating in an on-call rotation to address urgent matters. Your responsibilities will include creating documentation for processes and procedures, as well as participating in site-level project work to enhance the overall infrastructure. You will work closely with other teams to support AWS data centers globally, ensuring that all servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems are maintained effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the team to meet operational goals and improve service delivery.
