What you'll do

As the Data Center Chief Engineer, you will act as the primary escalation point for all facilities-related issues, ensuring that operations run without interruption. You will oversee the management of routine and emergency services across various critical systems, including switchgear, UPS systems, and cooling towers. Your role will involve performing root cause analysis of equipment failures and troubleshooting within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).

You will provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Collaborating closely with the Facility Manager, you will help set the team culture and implement new standard practices that enhance operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will also include testing and implementing new technologies to meet the demands of a changing market. You will work with some of the brightest minds in the industry, contributing to the continuous improvement of data center operations and ensuring that Amazon remains a leader in the field.
