You are comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods. You thrive in dynamic settings and can adapt to varying noise levels and temperatures. Your commitment to customer satisfaction drives you to ensure that orders are delivered accurately and on time.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly workers, supporting and mentoring them throughout their shifts. You will manage key operational metrics, including safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Collaborating with various support teams, you will develop plans to meet business objectives and ensure a seamless workflow across the first, middle, and last miles of delivery.
You will engage with your team to foster a positive work environment, encouraging them to maintain high levels of attendance and performance. Your role will involve continuous monitoring of operations and making adjustments as necessary to meet customer expectations. You will also be responsible for implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with company policies.
