Amazon is hiring a Transportation Specialist for their TR Last Mile 3P Carrier Operations team to optimize transportation networks and carrier operations. Who you are
You have experience in transportation or logistics operations, ideally within a fast-paced environment. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to identify improvement areas and optimize processes effectively. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with internal teams and external carriers to enhance operational efficiency. Your communication skills enable you to articulate performance issues and solutions clearly to stakeholders. You are proactive in supporting new program implementations and have a keen interest in data analytics to drive operational improvements.
What you'll do
As a Transportation Specialist, you will dive into daily last mile operations, tracking carrier performance and identifying areas for improvement. You will support the launch of innovative delivery programs and maintain operational dashboards and reports to ensure network efficiency across multiple Fulfillment Centers. Your role will involve generating regular performance reports and conducting root cause analysis to address performance variations. You will assist in preparing for peak season readiness and communicate with carriers to discuss performance issues and improvement actions. Additionally, you will collaborate with various internal teams to align on operational issues and enhance delivery operations.
