Who you are
You are an experienced warehouse operations supervisor, known as an Area Manager at Amazon, with a strong background in logistics and team management. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are adept at leading teams to achieve operational excellence. Your ability to motivate and guide a team of 20-30 associates is key to your success in this role. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and productivity in warehouse operations and are committed to continuous improvement.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and can quickly address issues that arise in the warehouse. Your expertise in logistics processes, including inbound, shelving, outbound, and inventory quality management, allows you to maintain high standards in operations. You are also familiar with methodologies like 5S and are always looking for opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in your team.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager Fresh, you will lead and manage a team of associates in a logistics center focused on delivering fresh products to customers. You will be responsible for creating daily operational plans and assigning tasks to ensure that all warehouse activities are executed smoothly. You will monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to meet operational goals.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring that all associates can work safely and efficiently.
