Who you are
You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in managing teams. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and performance in an operational setting, and you thrive in environments where you can engage and mentor your team. You are physically capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. You are committed to maintaining high standards and ensuring that customer expectations are met consistently.
Desirable
Experience in logistics or fulfillment operations is a plus, as is familiarity with safety and quality assurance practices. You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with various support teams to achieve business objectives. You are adaptable and ready to take on the challenges that come with managing a dynamic workforce.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workers, supporting, mentoring, and motivating them throughout their shifts. You will manage key operational metrics, including safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Collaborating with support teams such as Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, you will develop plans to meet business objectives and ensure that operations run smoothly. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the workflow across the first, middle, and last miles of the delivery process, ensuring that products are housed, transported, and delivered efficiently.
