What you'll do
As an Area Manager, you will oversee a team of hourly employees at a new logistics center in Nonoichi-shi. Your responsibilities will include managing the sorting and shipping of incoming products, as well as planning delivery routes to ensure timely customer service. You will collaborate with senior management to develop overall staffing and operational plans, ensuring that all processes are executed without delays.
You will also be responsible for managing staff attendance and performance, coordinating with assistant staff to ensure that operations are progressing smoothly. Regular meetings with senior management will be part of your role, where you will discuss operational improvements and strategies to enhance safety and quality.
Your day-to-day activities will involve working in a shift-based environment, including night shifts, to ensure that all operational goals are met. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of safety and efficiency within your team, driving continuous improvement in all aspects of logistics operations.
