Who you are
You have at least 3 years of experience in staff management and team leadership, ideally in a logistics or operations environment. You possess strong problem-solving skills and can effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to analyze data and implement improvements is key to your success in this role. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities. You have a basic understanding of computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Your business-level Japanese proficiency allows you to communicate effectively in a diverse workplace.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will oversee the logistics operations at our Tsukuba-shi fulfillment center. You will be responsible for planning and managing shipping routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient product delivery. You will collaborate with senior management to develop staffing plans and ensure that operations run smoothly.
