What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, ensuring that performance objectives are met and that your team is supported in their development. You will drive the creation of quality initiatives and process change initiatives, leveraging Lean methodologies to enhance operational effectiveness. Your role will involve measuring performance, providing feedback, and holding your team accountable for their results.

You will work closely with support staff to build and secure the necessary resources for projects and initiatives, ensuring that your functional area meets and exceeds business plans. You will take proactive steps to share best practices across departments, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and improvement. Your leadership will be crucial in building a strong leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center, ensuring that the team is well-prepared to meet future challenges.
