Who you are
You have extensive experience in operations management, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving performance objectives. Your ability to coach and mentor team members ensures that you build a strong leadership bench within the Fulfillment Center. You understand the importance of creating positive employee relations and fostering a collaborative work environment.
You are adept at implementing quality initiatives and process changes, particularly Lean initiatives, to enhance operational efficiency. Your focus on safety, quality, and customer experience drives your decision-making and operational strategies. You are skilled at setting clear expectations for your team and holding them accountable for their performance.
What you'll do
As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the site, including managing a team of Operations and Area Managers. You will drive the creation of improvement plans and ensure that best practices are shared across departments. Your role will involve collaborating with support staff across various functions, including HR, Finance, and Safety, to secure resources for projects and initiatives.
You will measure performance, provide feedback, and ensure that your team meets and exceeds business objectives. Your proactive approach will help you identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies that enhance operational effectiveness. You will play a key role in shaping the operational culture of the Fulfillment Center, ensuring that safety and quality remain top priorities.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $135,000.00 - $182,700.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the success of the Fulfillment Center and the overall customer experience.
